Reneging. Need some advice
I accepted a return offer from my summer internship back in August. Now I am having second thoughts on the position. How messed up is it to renege now, what are the potential conflicts.
Be direct, respectful and do it as soon as you’re 100% confident. Thank them for the experience and the opportunity and leave the door open to keep in touch. It’s not ideal but these things happen.
