Research Associate positions at a Corporate Level
I have been noticing recently a few positions popping up that are support roles in corp dev that do research support functions. As I am trying to break into ER or IB, I was wondering how relevant these positions would be for exit ops. I am not as familiar with such roles but from the phone interviews it seems they are more research based than modeling based (although some metrics/multiples are involved). The pay is also decent at around 70K and you get exposure to deals. Is this something worth taking versus something like FP&A or valuations role? Thanks
