Response to Follow-Up email
On June 23 I had an in-person interview with 4 people. It consisted of a benefits review, site tour, formal interview, and lunch.
The manager said I would hear back by June 30th. By July 5th I had not heard anything so I sent my HR contact an email thanking them for their time and asking if there was a delay in the process or if I should continue my job search elsewhere.
She responded saying the manager was out of the office, but he should be back 'tomorrow (7/6)' and he would be in touch.
Is that a good response? Wouldn't they just tell me I wasn't selected if I'm not going to get an offer?
I feel like saying that he would be in touch is leading me to believe that it would be with an offer.
Did he ever get back to you?
