Rising Junior, Non-Target, High GPA, Too late for IB

I currently intern at a BB in corporate finance doing back office financial analysis (although not much is done)

I really want to break into IB capital or debt markets for next summer but I've sent out tons of applications to everywhere and I guess I missed it because I've gotten little response. The furthest I got was the hirevue on MS and a quiz/assessment from ubs.

I've studied up on all the technical questions, have a ~3.85 GPA. However, I missed the boat for getting a 2020 SA slot as they all must be full.

Any advice on good front office positions to apply to for next summer 2020? I need a good backup. I'm on pace for a return offer at my current role but it doesnt seem that fulfilling.

Thanks
