Rising Junior with no internships

I’ve applied to over 70+ internships and I haven’t heard back from a good majority of them. The few who send back a message are for the hirevue virtual interview, I submit them and for many thats the most I hear from the company. I’m feeling so lost and frankly exhausted from the search. I’m a junior in college and every time I ask for help (like at the university career center) I get the same responses: keep going you’ll find something eventually, make sure you network it’s all about who you know. I’ve taken the advice, I have 120 connections on LinkedIn, I’ve reached out to employees that either have the positions I want or work for the company I’ve applied to. I’m not a completely introvert but I was raised in way thats made it difficult for me to talk to people about topics like asking for a position referral and such. I just feel like all my efforts are being wasted. I’m stuck and I don’t know what to do.
