RX Consulting to RX IB
I've just finished my first year in restructuring & turnaround consulting. While I've generally enjoyed the work, I'm looking to lateral into investment banking (preferably RX) through off-cycle recruiting.
1. Does anyone with a similar story have any tips/recommendations on how to make the jump?
2. If there are any folks reading this who started in investment banking then went to RX consulting, what are your thoughts on hours/pacing/difficulty between the two?
While I know the lateral hiring market is all but dead at the moment, any advice/stories would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.
