SA 2023 Recruiting - stressed-induced health problems & best coping practices

Hey everyone, first post on this site, but I feel like this is might be a more pervasive problem in the IB recruiting process/analyst years. Background on myself: sophomore, non-target, Midwest, strong GPA (3.95) and work experience (Fintech in HS, relevant extracurricular activities, recemt IB seasonal analyst). The rubber is beginning to meet the road with many companies I am looking at (mostly MM & EB), and I was able to stave off fatigue for several months of networking & technical prep. Like a sleep debt, I think this is beginning to creep back up on me and take a toll.

Sleep has been irregular (if happening at all), stress has been heightened, constant cold symptoms/migraines, chills, aches, pains, et cetera. I'm finding it difficult to talk to family when I chat with them, and some days I don't feel like leaving my apartment at all.

I am sure this is all the result of stress, something most recruiting students (and, certainly, analysts) have no shortage of. For those who have recently or are going through this process, how did you cope with these things? What drove your motivation through this process? Any/all input is appreciated, and I thank in advance.

Touch grass, it ain't that serious. Stressing over something this bad is setting yourself up for failure. How are you supposed to interview if you've gotten no sleep for a week? Find a way to be okay even if none of the recruiting works out and then maybe you'll be less stressed (meaning come to terms w/ the worst case scenario and then you can focus).

Honestly though, take a break. Burnout does you no favors. Take days off. Find an outlet (working out? a sport?).
