Secured an interview, how to be proactive?
So I recently secured an interview for an analyst position that is 10 days away. The HR admin sent me the calendar invite with a list of who on the team I will be meeting with. For context: this position is in the commercial real estate industry and is very similar to my current role, it's actually with a competitor.
Would it be TOO proactive of me to shoot an introductory email to each team member listed on the calendar invite, attaching redacted work samples and saying I am looking forward to meeting them? I certainly want to hit the ground running, show them that I am well qualified, but I do not want to be overbearing.
Would appreciate any thoughts!
No need to be proactive by emailing them at this point. What you need to do is find out more about those people's backgrounds, if possible; prepare intelligent questions and make sure that you understand the role well before the interview.
