Send Calendar Invite?

I recently scheduled a coffee chat with a IS Analyst, and when I called him he told me he completely forgot about our call and asked to reschedule. Should I send him a calendar invite to his work email of the rescheduled time we agreed on? (I didn't send one originally). Thanks in advance.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, it's highly recommended to send a calendar invite when scheduling calls or meetings. Here are some key points to consider:

  • Always Send a Calendar Invite: This ensures that the meeting is on both your and the analyst's radar. It helps prevent situations where the other party forgets about the scheduled call.
  • Use Work Email: When possible, send the invite to the analyst's work email rather than a personal one.
  • Include All Details: Make sure the invite includes the date, time, and a brief description of the meeting. For example:

Title: [Your Name]/[Analyst's Name] - Coffee Chat Location: [Your Name] to call [Analyst's Name] at [Phone Number] Date and Time: [Rescheduled Date and Time]
  • Confirm the Phone Number: Verify the number in the analyst's email signature to ensure you have the correct contact information.

  • Prompt Response: Respond promptly to any communication from the analyst to stay top of mind.

By following these steps, you can help ensure that your rescheduled coffee chat goes smoothly. Good luck!

Should I sent the calander invite via microsoft outlook, or google calander, or what do they always want?
