"Send me a Resume anytime"

The other day I went to a networking event and met a handful of people in the industry I'm interested in breaking into. In one of my thank you emails, I mentioned that I would be interested in an internship at a firm and the recipient replied saying that we should stay and touch and that I should send my resume to him anytime. Should I send my resume to him now or wait until the end of the summer for a prospective internship for next year.

Pretty good time to be reaching out to companies. Should follow up soon if you can, but your chances vary on actually landing the job, depending on the industry. If it's IB with a BB, very unlikely you'll get a sophomore internship unless you are exceptional or go through a diversity program. But every other industry pretty much is relatively receptive to sophomores.
