Should I Accept a Prestigious Government Role?

Hi WSO. I recently graduated in May and was just offered an interesting role at one of the main financial government agencies (SEC, CFTC, Treasury).

Would something like that be worth it to take? It's a pay cut, but I don't care about money at this stage. I feel like this is far more prestigious and interesting, and will generate far more connections if I do it for 2 years versus a standard IB role.
