Should I mention garden leave during interviews ?

Hi monkeys,

Long story short - been asked to resign and took the deal. If I didn’t, no guarantee I wouldn’t have been fired or would have got anything more than notice.

During my garden leave, should I mention to prospective employers that I am still in my current role ?

This is basically my plan and I would think factually right as long as I am on payroll, the only potential issue is if they asked for references and one of my guys says that I resigned 2 months ago.

however, I am a bit scared to say I resigned without anything lined up as long as I can avoid it. I think if it comes to that I’ll go travel for a few months and can legitimately craft a story around it, but not my first choice.

Any advice ?
