Should I put McDonalds on my linkedin/cv as a rising college freshman?

I know this sounds stupid af, but I haven't really been given the opportunity of an internship in high school as I grew up kinda poor and had to work a lot of hours most summers. The only other experience I've had is working on a startup with a friend. Do you think it will look bad on the linkedin as I try to network with Associates, VPs, and MDs?

I know someone who only had 3 years of fast food xp on his cv landed a placement in a bulge bracket, however this was a MO role not IB.

Yeah, I mean I'll cast a wide net over the school year for freshman summer so that I can at least gain some relevant xp before recruiting, but that's very impressive.

The guy had a 4.0 and we go to a semi target so that definitely helped, but it's helped me understand how important attitude is when aiming for these types of roles.

Definitely add.

I remember emailing MDs at Goldman with my work experience being "Sales Associate at Golf Galaxy", "Dishwasher at an Assisted Living Home", and "Kitchen Associate at a Catering Company". No one ever responded but hope I gave them a good chuckle.

Keep working your way up to build relevant experience. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
