Should I take this FT offer? Background check question

Hello,

So I worked in Corp. Finance, and then for the past year I worked trying to start my own ventures. It didn't go as I planned, and I'm now looking to go into corporate again.

I'm currently out of a job, and could really use the money. While I'm trying to go back to corporate finance or another nice corporate sounding role, I just got an offer to work as a recruiter for a recruiting company. The issue is that I'm not really interested in the job, but I could really use the money. I'm thinking of taking the job and continuing to work there until I land a job that makes more sense for me, hopefully within 2-3 months.

I was thinking of not disclosing to my future employer that I'd be working for the recruiting company, given that I'd be working there for such a short time. However, I'm wondering whether I will need to put it in the pre-employment application online while applying to jobs, and/or in the background check forms once I get a job in the future. I wonder if it would be ok for me to say that I was just doing that to get some money while I sought a job that made more sense for me, but also I'd rather not do that as I'd just be way too all over the board, having gone from corporate to working on my own ventures to working as a recruiter.

Do you think there could be any negative repercussions to working there for 2, 3 months until I get a job more in line with my interests, and not disclosing it anywhere?

Thank you in advance!
