Some doubts while choosing my next internship

Hi everyone,

I've just registered to WSO and after introducing myself I wanted to ask for an advice. I am a final year European Msc Finance student (let's say from one between France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland) and I would like to build a career in the buy-side. Now i have the opportunity to make a final internship before getting graduated but I have to choose between some very different opportunities:

1) 50 Bn AUM Asset Management firm, internship as equity analyst, again let's say from one between France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. The company is not very known outside the borders and overall the performance of the team I would join is often below benchmark and below peer group average

2) Private Equity analyst internship at 2Bn AUM European PE firm, again France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. Small team, all experienced guys I think i could get a decent deal exposure. This is the only one not in my home country, so it will be also an "international experience"

3) Private Wealth Management internship at top US Bank, again in France, Germany, Italy, Spain or Switzerland

As said I would like to work in the buy-side in the long-term. From 1) and 2) I already got the offer, while 3) should answer me soon (but I was told I did pretty good after the interview).

What do you think?

The PE firm seems interesting to me, but as said I would like to work only on the buy-side and I don't know if after the internship would be possible to find other entry/junior positions in a decent PE firm in Europe.

I know with that: "The PE firm seems interesting to me, but as said I would like to work only on the buy-side and I don't know if after the internship would be possible to find other entry/junior positions in a decent PE firm in Europe." I meant that probably a PE experience could be useful to do PE, but also to do M&A and I would not be interested in this last option.
