Also a sophomore here, received Private Credit, Deloitte Consulting, WF IB, CS IB, PE Fof offers and a couple others. No point in listing all my offers.

The point is I really was interested in consulting because of the traveling and more person to person interactions.

That being said, Big 4 consulting is “fake consulting”

I would take the Private Credit because you develop better skills and learn about debt in depth which is a very and will always be a very in demand skill. Also has better exit and lateral opportunities.

It’s easier to go from PC > any investing role

Than from Consulting > investing.

That being said, I do feel like Consulting would have better exit opps into management or Corp dev roles but take my comment with a grain of salt as this is only my opinion.

Hope this helps a little!

Didn’t list all my offers.

I listed a couple of them to give perspective on what my options were and how I was still passionate about doing consulting.

You contributed nothing to this thread, next time you want to ridicule a post, at least give some insight into OP’s question
