Specialized programs for recruiting?

I’m a high school senior (ignore title) and I’m looking to apply to colleges. I’m out of state, but I’m thinking of full sending for Robertson Scholars, Echols, Huntsman, and Plan II at UT.

im based out of NC so most likely to convert for UT, but I was wondering about placements.

For what it’s worth I’m a non-diverse male, and I heard that it would be very hard to place if not diverse.

Would programs like DOWS, HeadStart, or BTG help my case? My family is from Puerto Rico, but I look very white so not sure it can push me towards an offer at a firm. Thank you in advance
