(Spring weeks) When applying for different divisions for the same firm, will you normally be able to apply with different CVs and Cover Letters?

I’m just wondering about this because for spring weeks I want to apply to both IBD and ER where possible - I’m aware that not all banks structure applications this way. If a bank were to allow this, would it usually be possible to upload to separate CVs and Civer Letters so I can produce an IB-focused CV/CL then a ER-focused CV/CL? Or is it his rare and I have to apply with a balanced CV/CL if I want to apply to both divisions. Any help would go a long way. Thanks
