Struggling to find an internship
I am currently a junior finance major at a non-target state school in the northeast. I have a competitive GPA of 3.6, 3 prior internships, decent leadership experience yet I can't seem to find a good internship for this summer.
I am open to pretty much any position that involves financial analyst (Risk, Equity or Credit Research would work). I also have a strong interest in PE.
I am very driven but the applications I fill out or emails I send just always seem to be a dead end. Does anybody have any advice for finding an internship for this summer? It could be unpaid if the experience is highly valuable.
