Struggling with complacency/feelings of underachieving after accepting FT offer
Hey everyone, I'm a senior at a private non-target needing some advice about FT prospects. Just for context: ~3.7 GPA, decent internship experience (F500, MM, ER), and heavily involved with my school's investment fund. I had a few BB FT super days but unfortunately nothing panned out. I interviewed with an investment consulting firm in December and accepted the offer - based on some Linkedin creeping the firm has strong MBA placement. I'm worried about the exit ops and what seems to be lack of transferable skills (based entirely on what I've read on this site).
I know I'm worrying a lot pre-graduation, but I've been feeling very complacent since accepting the offer. I've loved my time in ER and think it's an environment I'd do well in. I'm unsure if I should stick with my current opportunity or try to leverage my network for what could be considered a better position.
Any input is greatly appreciated!
If you like ER, then why would you want to go to IB at a BB? You can always leverage what you do at the investment consulting firm and get a job in ER or whatever else you want at a BB later on. You can really get whatever job you want if you just don't quit.
