Struggling With SA 2024 Spot

I'm struggling immensely with the internship process for summer of '24. It is a shame, I had a fantastic internship this summer ('23), in a front-office role at a bank. However, I have struggled to find a spot for next summer, and realize that my chances of getting an Investment Banking SA is slowly deteriorating. Granted, I come from a fairly non-target school (still a good business school), with my GPA on the lower end (which may be the root of my struggles). But I have had amazing experience, and know fully well that I want to do banking. I've tried networking but paid poor attention to the deadlines and applications closing. Any advice? Any banks still hiring or beginning to hire? Any insight and help would be highly appreciated!

I'll stay positive and not feel discouraged.

Hey from reading this it seems like you’re in a really shitty situation so props to you. Have a friend who’s in a similar situation and he ended up in a back office role at a no name city with a mid tier firm. Did you have any luck? Curious to hear how you ended up.
