Submitted the wrong resume to McKinsey - advice?
So basically I submitted a resume that had an activity title that doesn’t match its description to the McKinsey SSBA application (sophomore summer internship) along with a few other programs. For every other one I was able to change the files in my app after submitting, but not McKinsey.
I don’t know what to do but I’m hoping they won’t look too closely at my resume?? The error is in the middle-ish section and probably isn’t the most obvious. But it would probably be pretty bad if they did see it.
For context, I go to a school that has two alumni who lead the McKinsey recruitment, and was wondering if I should email one of them explaining that I submitted the wrong file. I’m not sure if that would just draw their attention to the mistake or if it would come off as annoying.
Any advice/suggestions would be really appreciated, thanks guys
Maybe reach out to BAs that currently work there before drawing attention to it with recruitment. Good luck!
