summarize your phone interview!

Hello WSO,

I had a couple (2) phone interviews last week, and it was different from what I had envision a phone interview would be. I was expecting a lot more questions from the interviewer (one human resource, one recruiter) and I am sure if the brevity of my answers might have affected the amount of questions that they asked.

So I would like to ask ya: how do phone interviews usually sound like? What kind of questions do they ask you, how many questions do they ask, and how in depth are your answers?

It would be great if you can give me like a timeline or summary of your phone interviews with recruiters/ human resource.
