Supply Chain Exit to Finance

Hi all,

Currently working as a supply chain analyst for an electronics company, with about 5 years of retail supply chain experience before that. At this point, I am looking to make a switch into something more finance related as I love following the markets and understanding what is causing market changes.

My job currently consists of a lot of analysis, forecasting, budgeting, etc. I do not have an MBA or any other certification other than an accounting degree from Penn State. I am most interested in a move into equity research, but understand that I may have some work to do to get there. What is my best move from here? Any help will be much appreciated!

You'll probably need to get some sort of finance job to make the switch or get a Masters in finance or MBA. Vanderbilt has a good masters program but they usually take people with less than 2 years experience.
