Switching offices after internship (Canada -> USA)

Hi everyone,

I'm a current second-year student that will be interning in the front office of a major canadian pension fund (cpp/psp/cdpq) which has offices in other countries this summer. This is my second year summer internship. I'm interested in doing my third year summer internship in the same firm but want to switch offices to get some international exp (i think it would be fun).

Anyone have experience navigating?
