Target sophomore looking for internships this summer

Hi, I'm a sophomore at an NYC target school and I have a 3.1, currently working as a treasury intern at a random company. I know recruiting for BB and stuff have passed + my gpa is pretty low (fucked around too much last semester), which hasn't gotten me far in terms of interviews for summer positions. Is it feasible to try and get into FP&A at my current company for the summer, and then apply for SA 2021? In my current role, I've been getting some decent excel and VBA experience. How applicable are these skills in terms of getting into banking, and what kind of internships should I look for for summer 2020 to prepare myself/pad resume for 2021 SA recruiting? TIA
