Temporary Job Risks during Covid-19
Hey Folks,
I am a recent MFin graduate with a decent resume/experience. I have been interviewing before and after my December graduation but after several last rounds I did not get anywhere. Then came the pandemic. I am currently working through the gig economy while applying to jobs still, but things are looking bleak. My question is the following - how much will getting a mediocre position, such as working in BO ops or something administrative/etc affect my future prospects? I have already worked in BO in the past and don't want to repeat the same thing. As I said I have a decent resume - Strong MFin GPA, CFA progress, 2-3 relevant internships. How much of a setback will a temp job do to me and how hard would it be to leave that role as soon as the pandemic ends? Thanks for the help.
