Trying to find a Finance job after college but I've only had experience in insurance sales

Hello everyone,

I graduated from college last year with bachelors in Finance. Throughout my college life, I worked in auto and life insurance sales as it didn't require for me to be at the office for 40 hours and it helped me focus on my college. However, now that I've graduated I am having a hard time trying to find a Finance job (I prefer private equity but at this point any finance job is fine). But the only objection that I face is that I don't have any Modeling/analysis/valuation experience at work. I do have the skills through my projects and classes but it is giving me hard time to even find entry level job. I would like to receive some advice

Thank You
