Turning alumni into friends?
Hello all,
Following some of the advices on the site, I've been conducting informational interviews with alumni working in IBD. However, my problem with informational interviews is that the relationship seems to end as interviews end. After all, I'm there to ask him questions and he has answered them all. I'm still just a kid who had some questions about investment banking and nothing more than that. I was hoping that you guys might be able to give me some advices on how to follow up and make personal connections. Thanks.
Look for things in common to bring up, interesting articles that you know they'll want to see, just follow up to catch up, etc. Don't be annoying, but you should be able to read if you can turn a one-time conversation into a meaningful relationship (professional/social). Use your brain and don't press if it seems awkward.
This is like asking how do I make friends.
No, he is asking how to make friends.
Lol my mistake. Gave him the benefit of the doubt, haha.
I found this thing: http://www.wikihow.com/Attract-a-Goth-Girl
Are any of them goth girls?
