UIC good enough?

Hey everybody, how screwed would I be trying to put my foot in the door as an Analyst or Consultant with an undergrad in IDS or Finance From UIC ? Will transferring to Depaul help me out at all? Northwestern and Uchicago are out of the equation and how can I prep for this ? I'm currently a freshman Thank you all

Not sure what UIC has to offer, but I know DePaul has an IB club. From what I've heard, president interned at GS IBD this summer. He was the founder though. I don't know how useful it is, but at least it is a way to learn about the industry and network a little (assuming here). I would recommend doing your best to max out your GPA then apply to both Northwestern & U Chicago with DePaul as a safety. No risk in applying, and if you have a 3.8+ you'll be a decent transfer candidate for Northwestern. I have a friend who was accepted from IU to transfer, think he had between a 3.6-3.9 but was a poly sci major. Hope that helps.
