Undergraduate Summer Internships: Junior and Senior Year in NYC/Chicago?
Hi Chimps, I am a rising freshman at a semi-target school majoring in finance and accounting currently working a paid summer internship at a small local firm. At this stage I'm still learning everything I can about the industry. Several people working as analysts and one associate (BB) have told me that having summer internships before both junior and senior year on the street or somewhere comparable is a prerequisite to breaking in and also increases chances of a return offer. Has anyone had a similar experience? Or a different experience they can share? Thank you!
yes, it is very helpful, necessary the summer before senior year
