Unpaid Internship
I have recently been offered a fall internship with a small PE firm outside of NYC. However, this is unpaid and I am asked for 15ish hours of my time per week. Is this worth it during my undergrad?
By such gruesome 15 hour a week demanding small PE firm, you mean a search fund?

Yes. Also junior with not a lot of relevant finance experience.

Under no circumstances should you subject yourself to slavery.
Shame on the firm that offered you this "internship."
Even if it is my first real finance internship? I am itching for something like this to make me a more competitive applicant.

I’m not sure if the “slavery” guys are trolling or not. But I’m at a target and during the first Finance club meeting I attended, we were taught to seek search fund positions to strengthen our resume for summer internship recruiting.
