Urgent Recruiting Qs: Expediting Interview Process

Currently in the recruiting process with 4 companies. Have reason to believe that offers are forthcoming for the two that I am least interested in (finished final rounds with them and provided references). For the other two, I've only gone through 2-3 phone screens with members of the RE team (which I feel went really well), and they're both dream roles / much more desirable. FYI not working right now (laid off due to covid) and any of them will be a drastic step up - so I can't just turn down one of the first two and hold out for one of the dream roles.

Sry if these are dumb questions, but:

1. What's the best way to ask to expedite the latter two processes? They're both global companies that will likely want to run a full process, but I figure there's no harm in asking.

2. For the first two, assuming I get the offer, what's the longest period of days / weeks I can reasonably ask for to decide? Hoping to extend the window to a period where I can get a decision from the latter two companies.

Any help / advice would be appreciated.

1. Wait until you actually have an offer from one of the other companies in writing. And then email the recuiter / HR / hiring manager plotiely letting them know that you have an offer elsewhere. Ask them if they would mind bringing forward your next stage given you have another offer but THIS job is the one you want the most.

2. I don't know the longest, but I know some people hold on to an offer for a week or two before accepting, but personally as a hiring manager anything more than a couple of days may piss me off as it makes you seem un-keen. However, in my current role, I asked for a few days to make up my mind and they came back to me 1 day later with a 7k bump in the salary conditional on me accepting asap.
