UT austin 5 year integrated MPA

How competitive would I be in IB recruiting with a 5 year MPA degree from Mccombs while being active in finance/IB organizations. I feel this route would have more career flexibility down the line rather than just majoring in Finance. My main concern with majoring in Finance and going all out on landing an IB position is that I don't get an offer and am forced to enter an industry I do not want to be in.

from what I have seen with fellow grads in TX. Acct is perfectly fine for landing IB and much more opportunities with F500 companies, especially with all the O&G related companies. You’ll have more flexibility with the MPA.
