Wait and apply next cycle or get a Masters?

I am a final year economist as Oxbridge, I haven't got any internships or FT offers. However I believe I perform relatively well at interviews and the main reason for no offers is 2011 being such an awful year.

Do you guys think its worth doing a masters at LSE/UCL/Oxbridge instead of spending the time in another occupation while working on my CV networking and applying for the next cycle. My impression is that most employers aren't any more impressed with a masters than a BA.

True, BA or MA not a big deal. Try to apply for a spring programme, I believe it's still possible to apply for next spring, and/or try to apply for an internship next year. During that process do a masters, otherwise you'll have a gap in your cv. You're competing with kids with extensive internship experience. They're going to choose them over you with or without a masters. When it comes down to it, they'll accept ones with experience over the ones without, no matter how well your interviews go.
