Weird to Ask about Religious Practices In Call?

Have been talking to a few people to get the lay of the land before starting my internship this summer. Saw this person on LinkedIn that has the same pretty unique background/religion as me, and seems to be pretty devout. I want to ask them questions about the corporate stuff but also about how they fit religion into working some pretty intense hours/logistics about practicing the religion near the bank, etc— can I lightly skirt that in with questioning or should i just avoid that line of questioning altogether? Not sure what's kosher anymore.

I think I have an idea what you're thinking. If it's based on that physical appearance, go for it - just make sure your LinkedIn / email has your professional headshot.
