What are the only realistic options for an undesirable candidate?

Someone who is mid 30s No IB experience Didn’t go to a target school No MBA But has taken an interest in financial modeling and interested in furthering my skills (though I know this is not the same as having real world experience) What is a realistic path for me , I know BB , MM, EB are pretty much out of the question , is there any realistic path ( I assume we are talking like a tier 5 or 6 firm) Curious to know what an ROI looks like if I’m planning to spend a good amount of time sharpening my knowledge Much appreciated!!
