What can I do for people trying to break in?
I am currently somewhere in my career where I have a material say in the hiring process. When I was breaking in, it was a lot easier. But when my girlfriend's brother who tried recruiting as a white male, he failed even with me pushing as hard as I fucking could.
For those out there facing similar difficulties, I just want to let you know that there are senior people on the inside who detest diversity hire policies just as much as you and are trying to change the system from the inside.
