What constitutes a "solid" networking chat?
Do you know what constitutes a solid networking chat? I had thought I'd had a good conversation with a lot of analysts at some banks, but then they ghost me when I follow up for a second chat. Am I now back to the drawing board? How am I expected to know if a chat went well?
How soon are you asking for a second chat? Analysts aren’t in the interest (nor have the time) of mentoring a 19yr old. That’s something a principal or SVP might do.
A solid networking chat leads to them introducing you to somebody else. Or them explicitly saying “your resume has been flagged”
