There’s a million threads on this, but when I was recruiting would typically schedule for T-Th from 11am-1pm

To maximize the chances of your networking emails being seen and responded to, here are the best times based on the most helpful WSO content:

  1. Monday Mornings (10-11 AM): Professionals are often traveling or less preoccupied during this time, making it a great window to catch their attention.

  2. Tuesday Mornings (10 AM): This is another highly recommended time. It avoids the busyness of Monday and still leaves plenty of time during the week for follow-ups or scheduling.

  3. Friday Afternoons: Many consultants and professionals are wrapping up their week and doing less intensive work, making them more likely to check and respond to emails.

Additional Tips:

  • Avoid sending emails late at night (e.g., 2 AM) or during peak busy hours (e.g., early Monday mornings or mid-week afternoons).
  • If you don’t get a response, follow up politely about a week later. Persistence, when done respectfully, can make a difference.

Good luck with your networking!
