What To Do?

Laid off 6 months ago and will be running out of savings soon and will need to start selling my portfolio (painful). Job market is brutal. 100 apps with only a handful of interviews + no responses with the jobs posts still being up. FML... Any advice? Open to any and all ideas, criticism, etc...

I was in a similiar boat, laid off analyst 2. 9 months later I accepted a strategic finance gig that paid more than banking all in and half the hours and was very happy. I thought it would never work out. Stay at it. Ik it sucks. Were you laid off as an IB associate 1, or 2? Or analyst? What roles have you been targeting? I can try to help if I have more context.

that comp+hours seems absolutely mind blowing.. most of the high paying roles ive seen are still p sweaty but  you seemed to have hit the jackpot. do you mind sharing what industry you're in?

Not sure from your post what you've been targeting, but maybe broaden the search out to anything that's a front office role in the financial world. There are plenty of people who've used a short stint doing something less than ideal before pivoting back to their original path. Apply to everything in the land you're targeting, but also broaden out. At some point, you simply have to stop the bleeding and the downward spiral.
