What to say for Accepted Return Offer in Interview?
I am interviewing for a full-time role early next week and have already accepted my return offer, as it expired last Friday. In the interview, if they ask, should I just say that I already accepted the return offer and am willing to renege, as it is quite late to be having full-time interviews?
Terrible idea, Imagine if the person you are interviewing with has connections to the bank you accepted an offer with and you tell them that. They could contact your other bank and your offer could get pulled.
Why would they tell them that
What would you say instead?
“Yes, I received a return offer.” That’s it, that too if they ask.
They don’t need to know when it expires unless it is in the future and you want to use it as leverage to speed up a process.
If they don’t ask, speak nothing of it.
