When to follow up after interview?

Hi all,

I had a super day a week ago at a boutique consulting firm. They got back to people who also we're in my super day a day after the interview (all rejected). I have not heard anything yet which makes me hopeful but also confused. I think they might be interviewing other candidates and that's why there is a delay but if they really want me shouldn't they just give me an offer? Should I write a follow up email to reiterate my interest in the firm and make myself stand out again? Or should I stay silent so they can take their time and not decline me immediately (this has happened in the past when I brought up an exploding offer deadline and pressured companies to tell me their decision soon).

Help!
