When to Network (for FT)
Hey monkeys - genuinely curious and not sure at all what’s the right thing to do. Hoping to lateral from my current internship this summer (which ends late July) but wasn’t sure how to go about applying to other banks. I’ve heard it looks bad to start networking while you’re still at a place but then I don’t know when to do so - or is full time just cold emailing and asking if there are any open positions. Any advice from past laterals or people also in my shoes (ie tryna lateral for FT) appreciated!
