Ive been to a few networking events hosted by the bank/firms themselves and most who show up to chat don’t really give a shit and downplay the convo or read some basic ass script everyone else has been yapping about. I don’t want no bs about downtown coffee and suit shops but where can I actually place myself to casually chat up professionals who could help me leverage my application. What setting/situation would you feel comfortable in to talk to an undergrad student about the industry in NYC?
