I'm curious how everyone else is doing on their job search for full time positions next summer and whether market conditions have really affected the recruiting process. I heard about this site through friends and I have learned quite a lot from just reading the posts...so I guess I'll go first.

"Top-tier non-target" is oxymoronic (see: there is no such thing).

considering there are 8 BBs and some of these are not recruiting, i have to call bull.... unless you have something like 5 interviews per BB OR your definition of BB is very but very generous.

How do you find time to prepare, much less go to class everyday?
In any case, congrats on receiving so many.
I went through the same thing when I was in school. I had about 60-70 first rounds between mid-sept and mid-oct.
It was a good year when I was a senior. As far as finding time to prepare and going to class, you cut out a few hours of sleep. sometimes you skip class, do just enough to score C's on the first exam and average scores on any other assignments. Oh, I also had a good group of classmates who did the work for me sometimes.
...man, senior year rocked.
i have dropped my classes down from 5 to 4 and my classes are easy. this semester i've pretty much acknowledged that all my stuff is going to interviews
Most bb's are still recruiting on campus... the 15 interviews with BBs are not all ibd (only several of them are ibd... e.g. cs Citi boa) most of the 15 come from the same group of core bb's (ms equities, ficc, investment management, boa ibd, s&t, research) and there are several non-bb's (BNP, fidelity, RBC) and non-finance firms (Oliver Wyman, cornerstone, bain).
i have avoided applying to back office positions but have included things like research and investment management
i also have a very high gpa, top internship experience (no offer), and difficult major (math & compsci). i am lucky in the sense that i am getting interviews (most of my peers aren't) but still am panicked about job prospects
uhh did you not read what i posted? ~15 interviews with BB's and averaging 3-4 with the main ones = approximately 4-5 BBs? ms cs boa Citi... JPM and UBS are not recruiting at all

in any case, i'm not sure what positions you're interviewing for... you either got every position they're interviewing for or.... i have no clue. you must be doing everything from private bank, asset mgmt, s&t, ibd... even some of the firms you mentioned are not recruiting for all those divisions
