Why do I not get SA round one interviews // what to do next?

I did not get a first round interview for 90% of the 2023 SA positions I applied for. A little bit of background on me, I go to a mid SEC school, have a high GPA and 2 relevant internships. My first internship was an acquisition analyst and second was this summer at a boutique Investment bank. Not to be arrogant, but I feel like I am a better candidate than a decent amount of applicants I have interacted with based purely on understanding of the fundamentals and experience. I've networked and made strong connections at many firms but only 1 first round interview came from it. Any idea why (other than my school) I would not be getting any first rounds? also, now that most banks are done recruiting, any advice where to look for an internship next summer?
