Why do recruiters jerk me around

Wont name the firm- i had a round 1 zoom interview which went extremely well. I was told to wait for the next steps. I receive a email explaining the next steps in detail, the super-day, and the dates, times and locations.

Why the hell would they send me all that information to ghost me before the week of the superday without any official invite. I understand if I was rejected- just don’t email me specifics on the superday if im not invited 😭.

A few recruiters are ok but most of them suck

Many are simply inexperienced and don’t even understand the job they’re recruiting for. But even recruiters with experience will stop returning your calls the minute they find a candidate that they think is more likely to make them money.

Also, IMO they’re not helpful for recent grads with no experience or laterals. They’re more helpful if you’re a really good fit for the role. Bc that’s their job. To find a really good fit for the role
