Will a leave of absence hurt recruiting prospects?
I’m a rising sophomore at a target school but am planning on taking a leave of absence and recruiting next year for my junior summer internship. Will having this leave on my transcript hurt my opportunities a lot?

If you do something interesting it’ll prob help actually. Just make sure your timing is correct and consider how your school handles leaves (e.g. do you have to reapply for admission or can you just come back?)
Source: took a year long leave after freshman year to do some cool projects across the country, gave me a lot to talk about and bankers generally found it to be cool, now a BB SA
