Will the resume get me an SA at an American BB?

So my resume looks something like this (im in the uk - i'll try and translate into yank terms): 360 points at A-level (roughly equiv to a 3.8/3.9 GPA at high school) Started a business in high school and made around $25,000 in 2 years Recently started a business from university Former national swimming champion 2 spring weeks A summer internship this year with a large fund-of-funds

Great, the big problem with my resume? I'm at a non-target uni - say only top 30 in the UK.

Although I do have a summer offer from one of my spring weeks, i really want to work at an american bank as the culture of risk and entrepenurialship appeals/suits my personality and skills much more than the european banks.

What are my chances of landing a GS/JPM/MS interview (it's only getting passed the filters i'm worried about)? I don't think they're as hot in London on target schools (i know people who got into their spring weeks from non-targer unis) But is there a chance my CV will be culled just from my uni alone? Also, should i put my spring weeks down? is there not a chance they'll think "has this guy not got offers from there?"

Oh, i want to intern in sales, my previous business was basically entirely sales.

mxcYou think you can choose whether you work at a Euro or US bank?? Dude. Get the offers first.

I already have a euro offer. nothing wrong with wanting as US bank!

FinancialNoviceIIWith 360 points, why didnt you aim at a target uni? Say a LSE, UCL, Warwick? Seems like you ought to have easily have gotten in.

When i applied i thought i was going to get AAB, which wouldn't have got me in for the course I do. I ended up with A*AB, which although is 360 ucas points, some still probably wouldn't like the B.

Really? An AAB wouldnt get you in?! I got an AAAAB and I got into Oxford. A friend of mine got into Cambridge with an AABB. Definitely doable. The whole A only thing is overblown. You seem like a great candidate for the top unis in the UK.

AAAAB is not really the same as OP is it?

Unless you meant the B factor? AAA
